Counselling can help with a variety of issues. It changes with each client as every individual has their own needs: you may need help with a specific problem, or the space to feel heard and understood.

It can help you explore, without judgement, thoughts and feelings which may be confusing or overwhelming or that have left you feeling lost or stuck, and can help you gain insight into what you need. It can help you become more self-aware, and connect more strongly to your own internal resources so that you feel empowered and more resilient. It can allow you to put important life events in context, understand how your past may be influencing your present, and help you look forward to the future.

Saying something out loud is a different experience to thinking it. When we say something out loud, we have the chance to hear it in a different way and gain a new perspective on it.
